Summary of review and consultation
process
This
review was a part of a planned review cycle. Feedback was received from the secondary
sector and from the moderation and examination systems. National consultation on the achievement
standards has resulted in the proposed changes.
Main changes resulting from the
review
These achievement standards have been
changed to be consistent with the Levels 2 and 3 achievement standards. This applies to:

Providing an English translation to clarify
outcome statements.
·
Expanding the achievement criteria for
AS90132 and AS90134, and, where appropriate, changing the explanatory notes to
clarify the required student performance.
·
Amending the vocabulary lists where
appropriate.
