Assessment business unit of NZQA have completed a review of the achievement
standards listed above.

Summary of review and consultation
process
This
review was a part of a planned review cycle. Feedback was received from the secondary
sector and from the moderation and examination systems. National consultation on the achievement
standards has resulted in the proposed changes.
Main changes resulting from the
review
AS90006
·
Use of has been replaced with Demonstrate appropriate, within the title to better match the
skills required in the standard.

Explanatory notes (EN) have been edited for
clarity.
AS90007
·
Explanatory notes have been edited for
clarity and some items have been removed from the ranges.
·
A new EN 6 has been included to provide
examples of performance
conventions.
AS90008
·
The introductory statement has been amended
to align with the title and achievement criteria.

The achievement criteria have been altered
to read ‘specific drama/theatre form
through a
practical'.

EN 3 has been amended to clarify the
