Reason
for the revision
It
was noted that there was a mismatch between the accreditation statement on
Accreditation
and Moderation Action Plan (AMAP) 0101
and that on the standard listed above. The unit standard has been amended
to match the AMAP.
The
planned review date has been extended
to
fit with the ITO review plan, and maintain the credit worthiness of the standard
to allow candidates to complete the associated
qualifications.

changes resulting from the revision

accreditation statement has been changed as follows:
From
Evaluation
of documentation and visit by NZQA, industry and teaching professional in the
same field from another provider.
To
Evaluation
of documentation and visit by NZQA and industry.

The
standard has been moved to the new Infrastructure
Asset Management
domain, which is replacing the Civil Engineering - Asset Management
domain. Both domains are in the
same subfield.
·
The
planned review date has been extended to December 2011.
·
The
opportunity was taken to update the Building Act 1991 to Building Act 2004; and
correct minor grammatical errors.
