achievement standards listed above.

Summary of review and consultation
process
This
review was a part of a planned review cycle. Feedback was received from the secondary
sector and from the moderation and examination systems. National consultation on the achievement
standards has resulted in the proposed changes.
Main changes resulting from the
review
·
Minor changes have been made to clarify
wording of some titles and achievement criteria, however the overall outcomes
remain the same.
·
Changes in titles and achievement criteria
have been made for clarification, to remove redundancies, and to align with
wording used in reviews of Levels 2 and 3 achievement
standards.
·
Changes and additions have been made to the
explanatory notes provided to define terms.
·
References to external examination
prescription lists have been removed for internal
assessments.
