The
Local Government Industry Training Organisation has revised the qualification
listed above.
Date new version published
September 2007
The next qualification review is planned to
take place during 2008.
Reason for the revision
The
qualification needed updating following review of Civil Defence Operation
standards.
Main changes resulting from the
revision
National
Certificate in Civil Defence
(Response) (Level
3) [Ref: 0327]
Changes to structure and
content
·
Compulsory standards 7315 and 7316 have been
replaced with standards 20853 and 20854 respectively
·
Elective B standard 17280 has been replaced
with standard 22445.
Transition
People currently enrolled in programmes leading to the award of version 3 of this qualification may either complete that version, if they have gained credit for standards 7315 and 7316, or transfer to version 4. The last date for assessments to take place for version 3 is 31 December 2008.
All new
trainees will be enrolled in programmes leading to version 4 of the
qualification.
