The Fire and Rescue Services Industry Training Organisation (FRSITO) has completed the review of the unit standards listed above.

Summary of review and consultation process
The review was undertaken to take account of changes made to the prerequisite and other requirements for a number of unit standards resulting from the Community and Workplace Fire and Emergency Management subfield review. The reclassification of standard 14560 from the Workplace Emergency Risk Management domain to the Fire and Rescue Services - Generic Fire Fighting domain was to recognise that the skills and knowledge are those used by a fire fighter responding to an alarm situation, rather than those used by workplace personnel.
Additional unit standards in the Fire and Rescue Services subfield were also included in this review to maintain assessment integrity where changes in training and assessment requirements had been altered.
Support for the changes was endorsed by the FRSITO Training Advisory Group. The national Coordinated Incident Management System Steering Committee (CIMS) has also endorsed the changes effected by the Community and Workplace Fire and Emergency Management subfield review.
Main changes resulting from the review
The extent and nature of the changes made include:
· standard 14560 has been reclassified and the level increased from 3 to 4
· standard 4560 has a changed prerequisite due to an expiring standard
· changes to prerequisites, elements, and performance criteria have been made to standards 3283, 10614, and 10616.
