Reason for the revision
This revision is due to the revision of New Zealand Standard 4541:2003, Automatic fire sprinkler systems as New Zealand Standard 4541:2007, Automatic fire sprinkler systems.
Main changes resulting from the revision
· All references have been updated as required.
· Minor editorial corrections have been made as required.
· Definitions not required have been removed from unit standards 9362, 9372, 9375, 17708, 17713, 17714, 17730, 17731, 17735, and 18434.
· Definitions required have been added to unit standards 17713 and 17714.
· An item listed as a definition in unit standard 17713 has been reformatted as an explanatory special note.
· Reference to 'Appendix J' in special note 2 of unit standard 17731 has been changed to 'Appendix T'.
· Overlaps between performance criteria in elements 1 and 2 of unit standard 17714 have been resolved.
