Revision of Embalming qualification

 

National Diploma in Embalming [Ref: 1329]

 

The Funeral Services Training Trust of New Zealand has revised the qualification listed above.

 

Date new version published                                                             April 2008

 

The next qualification review is planned to take place during 2012.

 

Reason for the revision

 

The qualification has been revised as a result of a change to AMAP 0221 in relation to the practical examination for unit standards 8353, 8354, 8355, 8356, 8357, 8358, 8359, and 8360.

 

Main changes resulting from the revision

 

Changes to structure and content

·         Special notes have been amended to include a reference to the national embalming examination.

 

Transition

 

People currently enrolled in programmes leading to the award of the earlier version of this qualification may either complete that version or transfer to this version.
