The New Zealand Industry Training Organisation has revised the qualifications listed above.
Date new versions published April 2008
The next qualification review is planned to take place during 2010.
Reason for the revision
The qualifications have been revised to incorporate the changes made to standard 497 (credit increase from 1 to 3). And also to allow the inclusion of domain Sea Safety and Sea Rescue in Elective B of the National Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety (Level 3) [Ref. 0801].

· Overall credit total has increased from 50 to 52.
Transition
People currently working towards the previous version of these qualifications may either complete the requirements for that version or transfer their results to the latest versions of the qualifications. The last date for assessment of the previous version of each of the qualifications is 31 December 2009.
