Summary of review and consultation process
A review of these standards was undertaken as part of a regular review cycle. No assessments had been carried out against any of the standards for at least six years, and industry confirmed that it had no need for them. None of the standards were in any qualification. These standards were therefore designated expiring.
Main changes resulting from the review
· Unit standards 14193, 14198-14200, 14203-14206, and 14208-14215 were designated expiring as they covered skills no longer required by industry.
Unit standards categorised as category D expire at the end of December 2008.
