Summary of review and consultation process
The review of these unit standards was initiated during 2006. Whilst the unit standards were not widely used we consulted with current and potential users and found there was agreement with the combining of the two unit standards into a single more usable package.
Main changes resulting from the review
· Unit standards 9687 and 9688 have been replaced by unit standard 25079.
· The level of unit standard 25079 has increased to 4, to reflect the exploratory aspects of the unit standard.
Unit standards categorised as category C expire at the end of December 2011.
