Summary of review and consultation process
This unit standard was reviewed as it had passed its planned review date.
Changes were required to reflect changes in technology within the digital sector over recent years, and to improve clarity and allow for consistent assessment.
Two new unit standards were developed and forwarded to representatives in the digital sector of the print and packaging industries for endorsement and feedback. Feedback was considered and further changes made to bring into line with current practices.
Main changes resulting from the review
· Unit standard 17925 has been replaced by two standards at levels 2 and 3.
· The replacement standards have been registered in Digital Processes for Print domain.
The category C unit standard will expire at the end of December 2011.
