Summary of review and consultation process
A group of 28 equine tutors met at the national equine tutors moderation meeting held in Palmerston North in November 2006. As a precursor to the equine unit standard review scheduled for 2007, the group of equine providers and tutors reviewed unit standards to ensure the content was relevant, continued to keep abreast of current industry practice, and was fair and equitable for trainees. The resultant feedback was minuted and forwarded to the New Zealand Equine Industry Training Organisation.
