Date new versions published                                                          June 2008

The next qualification review is planned to take place during 2009.

Reason for the revision

Two reviews impacted on the qualifications:

·      Review and reclassification of the standards in the Management subfield following the review of the First Line Management standards

·      The review of the entry level Textiles Manufacture qualifications.

Main changes resulting from the revision

The Elective section of four of the qualifications (Refs: 0151-0154) allowed candidates to choose standards from the Management subfield.  They may now choose from the Business field.  The requirement for prerequisites was removed from three of the qualifications (Refs: 0152-0154).  The purpose statements were updated to reflect the review of the Textile Manufacture qualifications.
