Responsibility for the unit standards and qualifications referred to above, which were registered between 1996 and 2000 has been transferred from the New Zealand Qualifications Authority to the Community Support Services Industry Training Organisation.
Date new versions published March 2008
Planned review date December 2010
Rationale for the change
The change of responsibility was initiated as a consequence of the NZQA exit strategy for a number of its advisory groups. Other changes were made to update the currency of the qualifications and standards.
Outline of main changes
Qualifications
The qualifications have been amended to show the new ITO responsibility, maintained to take account of the revision of the Epilepsy unit standards, and published as new versions – see Revision section below.
Unit Standards
The unit standards have been revised and rolled over, and amended to show the new ITO responsibility and published as new versions. The option was taken to update references, correct typographical errors and ensure the content was still fit for purpose.
Accreditation and Moderation Action Plan
The Epilepsy standards have been transferred from AMAP 0117 to AMAP 0024. AMAP 0117 has expired and been removed from the National Qualifications Framework.
