Aviation, Tourism and Travel Training Organisation has completed the review of the unit standards listed above.
Date new versions published November 2008
Planned review date December 2013
Summary of review and consultation process
The unit standards were due for review. Drafts of unit standards were circulated to the Airport Operations Advisory Group for feedback, which comprised representatives of the airports of New Zealand, the Civil Aviation Authority, and the Royal New Zealand Air Force. The aim was to determine and discuss whether existing unit standards were still fit for purpose and to identify any gaps within them.
All collected feedback was considered and, where appropriate, incorporated into the unit standards. Several drafts were developed in order to accommodate the needs of stakeholders. The Airport Operations Advisory Group then endorsed these unit standards.
