Summary of review and consultation process

 

An Advisory Group meeting of industry and provider representatives was held on 20 May 2008 to look at the content of the General Glass and Glazing unit standards and to review feedback received from the assessment and moderation processes.  Changes to the unit standards were suggested and these were endorsed by stakeholders in June 2008.

 

Main changes resulting from the review

 

·      Minor change to title of unit standard 19617.

·      Unit standards 19613, 19614, and 19615 have been replaced by unit standard 25397.

·      Special notes have been updated.

·      Elements and performance criteria have been reworded for clarity.

·      Entry requirements have been deleted.

 

Unit standards categorised as category C expire at the end of December 2009.
