Revision of Water Industry AMAP

 

The Agriculture Industry Training Organisation has revised the Accreditation and Moderation Action Plan (AMAP) above.

 

Date new version published                                                             October 2008

 

The next AMAP review is planned to take place during 2009.

 

Reason for the revision

 

The industry or sector-specific requirements for accreditation needed to be updated.  The opportunity was taken to put the AMAP into the current template.

 

Compliance with new requirements

 

Accreditation requirements will apply with effect from December 2008.

 

Accredited organisations will be audited for compliance with AMAP requirements from June 2009 onwards.

ACCREDITATION INFORMATION (AI)

 

Industry or sector-specific requirements for accreditation

·         Criterion 2 - Requirements for access to water or wastewater treatment plants have been added

·         Criterion 7 - Provision of opportunities for practising practical skills in a safe environment before assessment is undertaken has been added.

 

MODERATION INFORMATION (MI)

 

Reporting

·         Reporting requirements have been clarified.

 

Appeals

·         Appeals process has been clarified.
