Summary of review and consultation process

 

These unit standards have been reviewed in order to update them to reflect current guidelines and regulations and ensure they are viable for use. Industry experts were contacted in order to undertake this review; changes were made in line with their feedback and have met with their approval. Neither standard is currently part of a qualification but it is envisaged that they will be at a future date.

 

Main changes resulting from the review

 

·         Special notes updated to reflect current guidelines and legislation.

·         Range statements altered to allow for diversity across organisations.

·         Level of standard 14191 lowered from 5 to 4, in order to better align with the level descriptors and standard 14192.
