The Creative Trades Industry Training Organisation, formerly known as the New Zealand Painting Contractors Association of Employers Industry Training Organisation, has completed the review of the unit standards listed above.

Summary of review and consultation process
These unit standards have been in use by the masonry industry and had reached their review date. This review has involved consultation and input from members of the masonry industry and training providers who deliver training to this industry.
Main changes resulting from the review
· Minor wording changes have been made in unit standards for clarification of content and to update terms, e.g. ‘enterprise practice' to ‘company requirements'. There were no changes to the scope, level, or credits of the unit standards.
· Title changes have been made for clarification only.
· References have been updated as required.
· Special notes have been changed in type and format, to ensure consistency with other unit standards recently reviewed by Creative Trades Industry Training Organisation.

The following Creative Trades Industry Training Organisation qualifications are not materially affected by the changes. They will be updated when they are next reviewed.
