Summary of review and consultation process
The review was undertaken following an agreement by Competenz to transfer the standard to the NZ Extractive Industries Training Organisation, as it is has coverage for blaster coating. The review took place in consultation with assessors, industry members, and Competenz through meetings, emails, and phone calls. A letter was obtained from Competenz supporting the change in classification of this standard. Final endorsement from industry was obtained through the Protective Coatings Sector Advisory Group, which represented the wider industry.
