Reason for the revision

 

Industry requested that this unit standard be updated to correct references to pieces of equipment that were not common to all Personal Evacuation Systems (PES).

 

Main changes resulting from the revision

 

·      The title was amended to reflect that, for assessment purposes, a PES could now be used in simulated environment.

·      A special note was added to state that the standard could be assessed in a simulated environment.

·      Some performance criteria and range statements were amended to clarify evidence requirements.
