Reason for the revision
This revision was carried out to correct typographical errors introduced during the previous review of standard 1304.
At the Communication Skills review completed in April 2009, it was intended that the level of standard 1304 be raised from 2 to 3 to reflect the skills and knowledge required to meet the standard. The registered version of the standard included an increase to the credit value of the standard (from 2 to 3) rather than the level of the standard.
Main changes resulting from the revision
· The level has been raised from 2 to 3.
· The credit value has been decreased from 3 to 2.
