The Boating Industry Training Organisation (Boating ITO) has revised the unit standards listed above. The standards had previously been revised and rolled over in October 2008 and March 2009 respectively.

Reason for the revision
To modify unit standard titles to provide a clearer indication of learning outcomes and to correct special notes.
Main changes resulting from the revision
· Unit standard 11777 – Change of title to clearly indicate that the installation of production engine packages relates to inboard engines only. Unit standard 23255 relates to outboard motors.
· Unit standard 11791 – Change of title to clearly indicate that the painting only relates to the exterior of boats. Unit standard 100 is the nearest equivalent standard that relates to the interior of boats.
· Special notes in both standards were amended for accuracy and consistency in formatting.
