Responsibility for the unit standards and qualification referred to above, which were registered in 1999, has been transferred from ElectroTechnology Industry Training Organisation (ETITO) to the Forestry Industries Training and Education Council (FITEC).
Date new versions published August 2009
Planned review date December 2011
Rationale for Change
The change of responsibility was initiated as a consequence of the ETITO exit strategy for the Materials Management domain.
Outline of main changes
Qualification
The qualification has been amended to show the new ITO responsibility, maintained to take account of the revision of the Materials Management unit standards, and published as a new version. Please see details below.
Unit Standards
The unit standards have been revised and rolled over, and amended to show FITEC as the standard setting body and published as new versions. The opportunity was taken to update references and to correct typographical errors. FITEC plan to review these unit standards by December 2011.
FITEC is the only other Standard Setting Body (SSB) to have uptake of these unit standards in the last four years. The unit standards and related domain were originally developed by FITEC, who previously had standard setting responsibility for them.
Accreditation and Moderation Action Plan
The Materials Management unit standards have been transferred from AMAP [Ref: 0003] to AMAP [Ref: 0173].
