The Electricity Supply Industry Training Organisation (ESITO) has completed the review of the qualifications listed above.

Summary of review and consultation process
A review was undertaken of the above qualifications to ascertain their continued relevance to industry. Consultation determined that the qualifications were surplus to requirements.
There have been no enrolments on to these qualifications for several years, and no recent completions. Industry was notified of the intention to expire these qualifications and no objections were received. Consequently it has been determined that these qualifications should be expired.
Main changes resulting from the review
· The National Certificate in Electricity Supply (Line Mechanic Transmission Live Work) (Level 5) [Ref: 1120] was designated expiring and will not be replaced.
· The National Certificate in Electricity Supply (Overhead Cable Installer) (Level 2) [Ref: 0919] was designated expiring and will not be replaced.
