Tranzqual ITO has revised and rolled over the unit standards listed above.

Summary

 

The revision of these unit standards was initiated by Tranzqual ITO so that the unit standards could be updated with respect to the legislative environment and industry references and codes.  Entry information, definitions, terms, and assessment conditions used or laid down in the unit standards were also made consistent.  The revision is intended to maintain the currency of the unit standards until a full review is carried out in 2011.

 

There is no impact on existing accreditations or registered qualifications resulting from this revision.

 

Main changes

 

·         planned review date was extended to December 2011

·         entry information was updated to make it consistent with recently registered versions of Commercial Road Transport unit standards (no substantive changes to entry information were made)

·         special notes were re-ordered and re-formatted to make them consistent with recently registered versions of Commercial Road Transport unit standards

·         definitions were updated to ensure they were consistently expressed

·         legal requirements relevant to each unit standard were updated

·         references (and their availability) cited in special notes were updated.

 

There were no changes to classification, title, level or credits resulting from this revision.
