Reason for the revision

 

These unit standards were revised to make minor editorial amendments.

 

Main changes resulting from the revision

 

·           The unnecessary reference to ‘haircut' has been removed from the definition of ‘following service' in unit standard 2884.

·           Performance criterion 3.7 of unit standard 2892 has been amended to clarify that, for a permanent wave, the neutralising process must be completed within a timeframe that ensures minimal hair damage.
