The New Zealand Industry Training Organisation has revised the qualification listed above.
Date new version published January 2009
The next qualification review is planned to take place during 2013.
Reason for the revision
The qualification was revised to remove standard 1277 from the compulsory section as industry assessors were unable to assess this standard in the workplace as it did not reflect the role of candidates undertaking this qualification.

Changes to structure and content
· Standard 1277 has been removed from the compulsory section.
Transition
People currently working towards previous versions of this qualification may either complete the requirements for that version or transfer their results to the latest version of the qualification. The last date for assessment against version 2 of the qualification is 31 December 2010.
