Summary of review and consultation process

 

The New Zealand Chef's Association are the industry stakeholders for these unit standards.  The unit standards have had some usage since they were developed which has highlighted that the current evidence requirements are not meeting the industry's needs.  A meeting was held on 20th May 2009 to review these two unit standards.  Changes have been made and were endorsed in late May.  The remaining Hospitality Operations unit standards will be reviewed during June and July of 2009.

·      Changes have been made to special notes.

·      Increase in credits from 8 to 10 for unit standard 21856.

·      Additional element added to unit standard 21856.
