The Aviation, Tourism and Travel Training Organisation has revised the unit standards listed above.

Reason for the revision

 

These two unit standards were reviewed and registered in October 2008.  However, typographical errors were identified when assessment guides were being drafted.  While the correction for unit standard 17751 was straight forward, it was found that the changes made to unit standard 17747 at review had altered its intent.  The unit standard was no longer capable of providing the basis for consistent interpretation and objective assessment.  It required further consideration and has undergone quite substantial changes to restore its original intent and to clarify evidence requirements for competency.

·      Unit standard 17751 ‘and’ removed from performance criterion 3.4.

·      Unit standard 17747 title amended, level decreased, credits decreased, changes to special notes, elements, and performance criteria.
