Summary of review and consultation process

These unit standards have been reviewed as part of the NZQA Māori Qualifications Services review cycle.  Letters indicating the intention to review were sent to stakeholders and Whakaruruhau, however there has been minimal usage of the standards in this subfield, so feedback was minimal.  As a part of the review, the Whakaruruhau has decided to trial some of the unit standards in this subfield with specific organisations in an attempt to illustrate the value that these unit standards can add to programmes.

Main changes resulting from the review

·           Credit value of unit standard 3705 has decreased from 20 to 10.

·           Elements have been amended to clarify outcomes.
