Reason for the revision

 

This unit standard was revised to update the definitions and resources in the special notes, to make sure it was fit for purpose, and to move it from the Tour and Attraction Guiding domain to the Visitor Services domain.

 

Main changes resulting from the revision

The revision has resulted in the following changes:

·         The revised unit standard has been reclassified into the Visitor Services domain.

·         Definitions and resources have been checked and, where appropriate, updated in the special notes.

·         Minor changes have been made to the wording of the elements, performance criteria, and range statements to enable the unit standard to be used by the wider tourism industry.

·         The Tour and Attraction Guiding domain has been designated expired.
