Summary of review and consultation process
Feedback from stakeholders revealed that the standards were too difficult to assess and lacking in some content. It was decided that it would be more useful if they were broken up into smaller assessable unit standards with the extra content added.
Main changes resulting from the review
· Unit standards 4165 and 19854 were designated expiring.
· Seven new unit standards were developed to meet industry needs.
Unit standards categorised as category D expire at the end of December 2010.
