Reason for the revision
This unit standard was excluded from the 2006 review of the unit standards in domain First Line Management, and was referred for review to the Human Resource Management (HRM) review. However, as this standard is not intended for HRM specialists, the HRM review group decided not to review it with the specialist standards. The unit standard will therefore be reviewed as part of the strategic reviews of Field Business, planned to begin in 2012.
Unit standard 19022 has therefore been revised for currency, and has been reclassified. Its period of registration on the NQF has been extended to 2014.
Main changes resulting from the revision
As a result of the revision, classification has been changed, legislation has been updated and unit standard 19027 (expiring) has been removed from entry information. No other changes have been made.
