Summary of review and consultation process
These qualifications were reviewed following a review of standards in the Printing Production domain.
A group of industry representatives responsible for undertaking workplace assessments and ensuring that these assessments meet the CMITO's requirements met in 2008 to consider the assessment methods and other aspects of the training programmes. This group reviewed the suitability of these qualifications, which are used across the range of the CMITO's training programmes.
The group decided that the existing qualifications generally met the industry's requirements but some changes were needed to ensure continuing suitability for the requirements of these training programmes.
