Summary of review, reinstatement, and consultation process

The above unit standard was reviewed and designated expiring in May 2009.  However, the Gas Transmission sector of the industry has advised that the unit standard is still required for some occupations in their sector.  The review team comprised providers and representatives from the Gas Transmission industry, who verified the decision through their sector advisory group.

Main changes resulting from the revision

The review process has resulted in the following changes:

·                Unit standard 9543 has been moved to the Gas Transmission Operations domain in the Gas Industry subfield.

·                Accreditation statement has been updated to match AMAP 0114.

·                Minor editorial changes have been made for consistency with other unit standards reviewed in May 2009.
