The Electricity Supply Industry Training Organisation has completed the review of the unit standards listed above.

Summary
These unit standards have been reviewed to ensure that they remain relevant to industry. Industry was invited to participate in the review and assessors were asked to comment on those standards they had assessed against. A notification of the standards being reviewed was also posted on the ESITO website. As a result of industry and assessor feedback, legislation and terminology have been updated. In addition some standards have been designated expiring due to very low usage.
Main changes
· Special notes updated.
· Standards 6978, 10398, 10412, and 15560 will expire at the end of December 2012.
Category D unit standards will expire at the end of December 2012
