The Building and Construction Industry Training Organisation has completed the revision of the unit standards listed above.

Summary

 

This revision was performed to address a typographical error within a unit standard.

 

In addition the Creative Trades ITO has requested the registration of a new unit standard covering knowledge of the signmaking industry within the Building, Construction, and Allied Trades Skills domain, to be offered as part of the suite of 'industry knowledge' unit standards available to candidates for the National Certificate in Building, Construction, and Allied Trades Skills (Level 2) [Ref: 1368], and to complete representation of the Creative Trades industry within this qualification.

 

Main changes

 

·      The word 'masonry' in performance criterion 1.5 of standard 25320 was changed to 'civil infrastructure'.

·      A new unit standard, Demonstrate knowledge of the signmaking industry within a BCATS environment, was developed.
