Summary
The Aviation, Tourism and Travel Training Organisation reviewed unit standards listed above in collaboration with an advisory group, consisting of providers. Draft changes were sent out to members for comment and their views were taken into account during the review process.
The review was carried out as part of ATTTO's scheduled review cycle and to ensure that the standards are consistent with industry practice. The review was also aimed at improving the clarity of the standards and removing inconsistencies.
Main changes
· Legislation and regulations in special notes were updated.
· Changes were made to the performance criteria and ranges to clarify the parameters for assessment.
· The credits for standards 19585 and 19587 were increased to better reflect the time taken for training and assessment.
· The credits for standard 20677 were decreased to better reflect the time taken for training and assessment.
