The Agriculture Industry Training Organisation has completed the review of the unit standard above.

Summary

 

As a result of feedback gathered during consultation for the National Certificate in Water Reticulation (Level 3) with strands in Water, and Drainage [Ref: 0962], the decision was made to review standard 24921.  As a result of this review, element 3 was removed as it contained training on using mechanical plant which is also found in existing standards.  Special note 2 was also removed as it related directly to assessment criteria for element 3.  The credits were decreased to reflect these changes.

 

The opportunity was also taken to correct an error in the standard.  The item power tool appeared twice in the range statement for element 2 and the duplicate item has since been removed.

 

The planned review date remains unchanged to keep this standard in line with the rest of the Water Reticulation domain.

·      The removal of a duplicate range statement item in element 2

·      The removal of element 3

·      The removal of special note 2

·      The decrease of credits from 10 to 7 to reflect the changes made.
