AMAP for Compliance and Law Enforcement [Ref: 0046]

Review of Local Government Industry Training Organisation AMAP

The Local Government Industry Training Organisation (LGITO) has completed the review of the Accreditation and Moderation Action Plan (AMAP) above.

Date new version published                                                             July 2010

The next AMAP review is planned to take place during 2015.

Summary of review and consultation process

The AMAP was reviewed as it had not been reviewed since registration.  Changes were also made to ensure that the AMAP met the new NZQA template and the Criteria for Approval and Registration of NQF Accreditation and Moderation Action Plans of March 2006.

Input on the reviewed AMAP was sought from Learning State, Auckland University of Technology and the National College of Security (accredited organisations that are high users of Compliance and Law Enforcement standards).  Feedback received supported the proposed changes to the AMAP.

Compliance with new requirements

Accreditation requirements will apply with effect from September 2010.

Moderation system requirements will apply with effect from September 2010.

Accredited organisations will be expected to be able to demonstrate compliance with AMAP requirements from January 2011 onwards.
