Summary

The unit standards in the Electricity Supply - Core Skills domain are due for a full review in 2011.  However, the SSB is currently developing a new utility arborist qualification which will include these unit standards.  The unit standards were therefore revised and rolled-over to update terminology and legislation so that they can be included in this qualification prior to their full review in 2011.

Unit standard 11578 in the Electricity Supply - Power System Management domain was also revised and rolled-over so that it can be included in a new diploma which the SSB is currently developing.  The unit standard will be reviewed later in 2010 as part of the review of the National Certificate in Electricity Supply (Power Technician) (Level 5) [Ref: 1260].
