New expiry date                                                                                   December 2011

Summary

The Joinery ITO has extended the expiry date for the three unit standards listed above to allow existing trainees for superseded versions of Architectural Aluminium Joinery qualifications the opportunity to complete.

The last date to complete assessments for version 1 of the National Certificate in Architectural Aluminium Joinery (Level 2) [Ref: 0765] (now the National Certificate in Architectural Aluminium Joinery (Entry Skills) (Level 2) [Ref: 0765]) and version 1 of the National Certificate in Architectural Aluminium Joinery (Level 3) [Ref: 0766] (now the National Certificate in Architectural Aluminium Joinery (Assembly and Glazing) (Level 3) with an optional strand in Cutting and Machining [Ref: 0766]) was 31 December 2009.  This date has been extended to 31 December 2011.

Extending the expiry date for the unit standards will mean existing trainees for version 1 of both qualifications may complete the qualification they started, rather than having to transfer to version 2, which is significantly different.
