Summary

This revision and rollover was conducted by ETITO in conjunction with the Department of Corrections to ensure the unit standards are current and fit for purpose.

Changes to unit standard 19307 have resulted from changes in procedures and processes within Prison Services for Corrections Officers.

Changes to unit standard 25008 have resulted from feedback from the training provider about workplace assessment and moderation being incorporated into the standard.

Main changes

· Title of unit standard 25008 was changed to more accurately reflect the outcome.

· Title of unit standard 19307 was amended to reflect a change in terms used.

· Special notes and elements were updated to reflect changes in processes and procedures, and to improve the clarity of the evidence requirements.
