Rollover of Languages unit standards

NZQA National Qualifications Services has completed the rollover of the unit standards listed above.  The above unit standards in bold have also been revised.

Summary

 

The 41 standards in domain Lea Faka-Tonga and the 30 standards in domain Vagahau Niue were first registered in 2003.  They had negligible usage until 2005.  Since then usage, while still low, has been steadily increasing.  Therefore, it has been decided to roll over these standards pending a strategic needs analysis as signalled in the NZQA Pasifika strategy implementation plan.

 

Main changes

 

·      The entry information in unit standard 22223 has been corrected.

·      The element in unit standard 19828 has been amended to match the title.

·      Minor editorial amendments to the definitions in unit standards 19824 and 22221.
