Summary

 

Unit 2415, Form and shape fabrication materials under supervision was replaced by unit standard 25075 after a review in 2008.  The last day for assessment for unit standard 2415 was set as 31 December 2010.

 

All other unit standards in the Engineering - Fabrication domain were reviewed in 2009, and the category C and D unit standards were set to expire on 31 December 2014.

 

Subsequent to the review of unit standards in the Engineering - Fabrication domain, some of the impacted qualifications have been reviewed.

 

A change to the expiry date is necessary in order to maintain the currency of the unit standard, allowing trainees to complete version 4 of the National Certificate in Heating, Ventilating, and Air Conditioning (Level 4) [Ref: 0124].
