Summary

 

Competenz reviewed and designated unit standard 553 expiring in August 2006.  The expiry date for the standard was set to 31 December 2007.

 

However, it was necessary to reinstate the unit standard and maintain its credit worthiness, to enable existing trainees to complete version 1 of the National Certificate in Architectural Aluminium Joinery (Level 3) [Ref: 0766].  The last date for assessments to take place for version 1 of that qualification is 31 December 2011.

 

Rolling over the unit standard until December 2011 will enable those trainees to complete version 1 of the qualification rather than transfer to version 2, which is significantly different.

The expiry date of the unit standard has been changed to December 2011.
