The Joinery Industry Training Organisation has completed the reinstatement and rollover of the unit standards listed above.

Summary
The Joinery ITO reviewed and designated the unit standards listed above expiring in January 2009. The expiry date set for the standards was 31 December 2010.
However, it was necessary to reinstate the standards and maintain their credit worthiness, to enable existing trainees for version 5 of the National Certificate in Joinery (Craftsperson) [Ref: 0386], and version 4 of the National Certificate in Joinery with strands in Cabinetry, Exterior Joinery, and Stairs [Ref: 0387], time to complete their qualification. The last date for assessment for those versions of the qualifications is 31 December 2012.
The Joinery ITO reinstated and rolled over the unit standards so trainees enrolled into those versions of the qualifications above can complete the requirements of their qualification.
Main changes
The expiry date of the unit standards has been changed from 31 December 2010 to 31 December 2012.
