Summary of review and consultation process

There was an oversight when the Seafood Processing and Aquaculture sectors reviewed the National Certificates in Seafood with optional strands.  This qualification was supposed to be part of the replaced suite of qualifications.

With the recent registration of the National Certificate in Seafood Processing with strands in Basic Processing Skills and Intermediate Processing Skills [Ref: 1621], this qualification is surplus to requirements.

This decision has been endorsed by the Seafood Processing sector.
